2024 VISION National Conference

June 21-23, 2024  |  Rio Rancho High School,
near Albuquerque, New Mexico

Registration is $200 per person to include transportation to and from the hotel, programming, lunch, dinner, snacks, daily gifts, and entertainment during the conference. 

Important: 

  • It is highly recommended that only one registration form be completed and submitted by the State Executive Director on behalf of the entire state delegation
  • Registration: $200.00 each person attending
  • Pre Conference Mixer: $50.00/each person attending.  Includes mixer activities, dinner, New Mexico cultural entertainment, rodeo, and bus transportation on Thursday, June 20.
  • By April 10, 2024 complete this online registration for your state delegation and SUBMIT.
    NOTE: If your state conference falls in April and you need an extended deadline, please contact NMASC Executive Director Mary Hahn at [email protected].
  • By April 15, 2024 book hotel reservation for the number of rooms your delegation needs.
  • By May 10, 2024 USPS mail your state’s registration check made payable to NMASC and USPS mail to NMASC | PO Box 95468 | Albuquerque, NM 87199.
  • The VISION Conference is open to Middle Level and High School Students. Middle Level students must be entering 8th grade in the Fall 2024 semester.
  • Complete and bring to the conference (with all signatures required):
    • Completed Medical Permission Form for each student delegate
    • Completed Student Conduct Form for each student delegate
    • Completed Advisor Commitment Form for each advisor (chaperone, each adult attending VISION 2024)  

For Students and Advisors

The VISION (Value, Inspire, Share, Insight, Opportunity, Network) Conference is open to any student, advisor and principal in the United States, Puerto Rico and around the world. The purpose of the conference is to meet and network with other leaders from across the U.S. and around the world, obtain new ideas from informative speakers and workshops and ascertain innovative ideas about service learning.

Participants will gain renewed enthusiasm for student council involvement at their schools, new projects, and ideas to implement and stronger leadership skills and friendships.

Costs for the TASC Vision Trip include the following:

  • 20 Trading pins
  • 9 shirts (three each of three designs) to wear and to trade
  • Hotel for the entire stay
  • Travel on site (excludes travel to and from Albuquerque
  • Meals (other than those eaten at the airport)
  • Tours/admissions, etc.
  • Registration for the Vision Conference 

Attendees are responsible for the following:

  • Travel to and from Albuquerque
  • Any meals eaten at the airport
  • Souvenirs and snacks other than those provided

Costs for the trip in addition to travel to/from New Mexico and meals at the airport
If registration with TASC and full payment is made to TASC by April 14 (includes $500 nonrefundable deposit)
Students (four to a room): $1125
Adults (two to a room): $1405
Adults requesting private room: $1965

If registration with TASC and $500 nonrefundable deposit to TASC are made by April 14 and final payment to TASC is made by May 15
Students (four to a room) $1215
Adults (two to a room) $1520
Adults requesting private room: $2125

If only attending the conference and not the pre-trip events so only June 21-23, 2024

If registration with TASC and full payment is made to TASC by April 14 (includes $400 nonrefundable deposit)

If registration with TASC and $400 nonrefundable deposit to TASC are made by April 14 and final payment to TASC is made by May 15

This is not a TASC organized event.  However, TASC will take our state officers and work with others who want to attend.

There will be no refunds for cancellations, however substitutions may be made.


TASC Registration Policy if TASC organizes a group trip.

  • Registration for this event will be final following the stated date registration closes.  Following that date no cancellations will be allowed, and no refunds will be given.  Schools will be charged the full amount for all persons registered including no shows.  
  • Cancellations made prior to the date registration closes will be charged a $400-500 per person cancellation fee.
  • Substitutions may be made provided names are provided 96 hours prior to the date of the trip. Gender changes may be made if space permits.
  • Shirts in the sizes requested and trading pins will be provided for those registering by the registration deadline.
  • If space permits, additions made be made following the date registration closes, but shirts and trading pins are not guaranteed.
