2009 TASC SUMMER LEADERSHIP WORKSHOPS
Registration is underway for each of the 10 TASC Summer Leadership Workshops. To register your student council to attend a summer leadership workshop, follow these steps:
1. Choose a workshop site and date (click here for options).
2. Complete the general registration form and mail to TASC with the necessary deposit or full payment.
3. Once the office has received your school’s registration, the advisor will receive an email confirmation that includes a receipt and a link to the workshop specific webpage.
4. Go to the workshop webpage and download the individual student and advisor forms and brochures.
5. Copy and distribute forms to student and adult delegates.
6. Collect completed forms and mail to the workshop director.
7. Attend the workshop and have one of the best student council experiences available through TASC!
Important notes:
An advisor must register to attend the workshop with student groups.
There may be workshop staff positions still open – contact the workshop director to inquire.

NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR EDUCATORS TEACHING THE STUDENT LEADERSHIP COURSE
Enroll in the inaugural Student Leadership Course Teacher Academy. This training will be held at the Austin Doubletree Hotel, July 6-7, 2009 and will be facilitated by Lyn Fiscus, editor of the TASSP/TASC Student Leadership Course curriuclum guide. Registration for the training is $200 per person. The hotel rate is $85 per night. Enrollment will be limited to 50 particpants, so act now to secure your place.

Schools achieving each of these recognitions are named sweepstakes schools. Report forms are submited and verified at the TASC District level.
